🌊 About the Ferry
The Cape May–Lewes Ferry connects Cape May, New Jersey and Lewes, Delaware, linking two of the East Coast’s most historic seaside towns. Each voyage carries up to 800 passengers and 100 vehicles, including RVs and trailers traveling along Route 9, one of only two numbered highways that cross a U.S. waterway.
Our fleet includes the MV Cape Henlopen, MV Delaware, and MV New Jersey — all operated by the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA), which also manages the Delaware Memorial Bridge and several regional airports.
